Breakfast in the Market off the Ramblas, a bustling market with fish,  large portions of pigs on display. We select fruit, croissants, and coffees and sit outside the Dunkin Coffee. A pleasant Mexican makes us our coffee and confirms for us that only a small percentage of Barcelonans speak English. His English is excellent, and we discuss the difference in American and Spanish coffee. All the coffee here is espresso based.
AT 10:30 we venture over to our Fat Tire Bike Tour.  This is given high marks by all ages in our party. The route is awesome,  mostly flat, some hills, to the City Park, Cathedral, Music Hall, Sagrada Familia, and Beach for lunch. We bike through narrow streets in the Gothic Quarter, dodging people and Vespas. After returning our bikes, we walk to the Chocolate Museum for the traditional Spanish thick chocolate drink and cookies, chocolate treats for later. The children and my parents cab it back to the Royal Hotel for some rest around 3 pm, and Dan and I explore the Barri Gothic and a walk to Casa Batlo. We enjoy cava in an outdoor cafe overlooking the Casa Batlo.  Later, a family  dinner at Taller de Tapas.
